Military Issue Parachutes

There are numerous sellers with military issue parachutes but most are just as they came from the government. Typically being folded up in a bundle with parachute cord ortape wrapped around it. Most will even have red tags still attached that generally identify them as "out of date" or "useful service life expired". As we are a distributor of this type of chutes, we are also well aware some are ripped, torn or other wise damaged which is NOT noted on the governments red tag. We inspect all chutes we sell for rips, tears, mold, or any other damage and note any problems found in our advertising.
There are 3 gemon types of olive drab or green parachutes you will find on e-Bay. Those are the 35 footT10-C (non-steerable full canopy chute), 35 foot MC1-1C (steerable with holes in canopy for steering) and the T10 Reserve Parachute which is a full canopy 24 foot parachute. Most buyers aren't aware of the different types and will sometimes purchase a steerable canopy chute when that was not at all what they had in mind. Check the adds carefully as most don't identify type of chute being sold or if they have been checked for any damage.
