Which beach is better outer banks or virginia beach?

Im deciding whether to go to the outer banks or virginia beach. Please tell me which one is better and why. It;s a long string of beaches that stretch over 100 miles and actually start in the far southeastern part of the City of Virginia Beach.It all depends on what you;re looking for. If you;re looking for a quiet beach than many of the beaches in the Outer Banks will do. If you;re looking for some entertainment in addition to the beach, then the Oceanfront neighborhood of Virginia Beach will do. If you;re looking for a combo between the two, try Virginia Beach;s Sandbridge neighborhood which is about 15 minutes south of the Oceanfront neighborhood.
